Indian summer

Indian Summer is one of my favorite cascade Cymbidiums. The combination of its compact foliage and the abundance of orange-brown flowers that bloom in autumn is simply stunning. It’s the kind of plant that makes everyone fall in love with the fall season.

Description

Flowering plant: the plant is 5 years old and has several branches whose flowers are still closed to prevent damage during transport, but within a month the flowers will be opened.
The location is very important, provide a light, cool place. The cymbidium originates from the colder areas and especially during the flowering it is important that the plant does not get too hot but that there is enough light.

Blooming plant: this plant is more than 4 years old and is big enough to be able to bloom, however, because the cymbidium only blooms in the winter months, the buds are still under development.

Young plant: this plant is 3 years old and has a bulb and 1 or 2 shoots. It will take more than a year before this plant can flower.

Plant in 5 cm plug: This plant is about 2 years old and is about 10 cm tall.

The plants we sell have been hand-selected and propagated by us. After being raised in a laboratory for 1.5 years, they are moved to our nursery.

The flowering period is from October to November.
